PBIS
At Hancock Elementary School, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) help us cultivate a school environment where all students feel safe, valued, and supported. Through Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), we promote school-wide expectations and reinforce positive behaviors in every area of the school community.
Cub Cash & Celebrations
Students who consistently demonstrate respectful, responsible, and safe behavior can earn Cub Cash from staff members throughout the school day. Cub Cash can be used to purchase special rewards, classroom incentives, or participate in schoolwide celebrations.
Our PBIS celebrations are a fun way to recognize students’ positive choices and may include activities such as dance parties, extra recess, game days, or themed events that build school spirit and community.
Family Involvement
Families are vital partners in the success of PBIS. We encourage you to talk with your child about our school expectations and praise them for being respectful, responsible, and safe at home and in the community. Your support helps reinforce these values beyond the school day.
